What does Calming jelly contain?

Valerian - is a plant used mainly for its sedative effect. Valerian contains compounds such as valerenic acid and valerenol, which have mild sedative effects. These compounds can help calm hyperactive or anxious dogs without causing significant drowsiness or altering normal state or behavior.

Passion flower (Passiflora incarnata L.) - is often considered beneficial for dogs due to its calming and relaxing properties. Passiflora contains compounds such as flavonoids and alkaloids that are believed to have anxiolytic (anxiety-reducing) effects. This can be useful in situations where the dog needs to remain alert but calm, such as during exercise or travel.

Tryptophan is a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin, which plays a vital role in regulating mood, sleep and high levels. Serotonin is often referred to as the "feel good" neurotransmitter, as it contributes to feelings of calmness and happiness.

How to spot and relieve stress in a dog?

Just like people, dogs can experience anxiety for a variety of reasons - hypersensitivity to noise (thunder, fireworks), post-surgery, loneliness, driving, traveling or visiting the vet.

Fear or anxiety in dogs can manifest itself in several ways:

  • Aggression towards other animals and people
  • Urinating or defecating in the room
  • Excessive licking
  • Trembling
  • Excessive barking
  • Chewing
  • Excessive bellowing
  • Hiding
  • Escape attempts
Calming jelly can help a pet cope better with the environment and fight fear and anxiety without changing the dog's being or behavior.

A calming supplement can help improve unwanted behaviors (eg, excessive barking, chewing) and reduce stress levels. For example, anxious or easily stressed dogs may have difficulty learning and responding to training commands. Calming supplements can help the dog relax, making it easier for the dog to focus and learn during training.

What age can Calming jelly be used from?

The product is suitable for all dogs from 3 months of age.

Is my dog going to like how jellies taste?

Jellies are highly palatable to pets, making them an excellent choice for picky dogs.
